arrest of a 31-year-old Montreal man Monday near Steel Mountain on the province’s west coast.
The man was pulled over for speeding on the Trans Canada Highway and a subsequent search of his vehicle resulted in the seizure of 80 pounds of marijuana. The vehicle was searched by RCMP police service cog, Cak.
The seized marihuana equates to 120,000 marijuana cigarettes.
The accused faces charges of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and is being held in custody for a bail hearing.
