Anna M. Donnell of River Road, Benton, and Christopher M. Goodwin, 24, of Green Road, Fairfield, were arrested after police, armed with a search warrant for Donnell's car, stopped the vehicle on Western Avenue, in front of Kennebec Valley Community College.<br />Both are charged with trafficking, a Class B felony, punishable with a conviction by up to 10 years in the state prison.<br />Donnell was charged additionally with violation of bail. Her two children, one 4 months, the other 15 months, were in the car when police pulled them over, according to Deputy Police Chief Steve Trahan.<br />Trahan said the children were released to Donnell's parents. She was taken to the Kennebec County jail in Augusta, as the Somerset County jail in Skowhegan is not set up to house female prisoners.<br />Donnell remained behind bars Wednesday night on $1,500 cash bail.
